And where it really matters, it, it in some sense comes down to economics, because one of the things that artists are doing, whether or not people acknowledge this, is we're keeping brick and mortar buildings open, galleries, print shops, art supply stores, camera shops.

We're keeping like a local economy going that's not a big box Amazon delivery thing.

And so right now, I'm about to jury an exhibit for a camera shop that's beloved in the East Bay, Looking Glass, and they've been around for about thirty-five years, kind of a hub of the photography community.

I mean, do you-- what did the l- what did the lawyer, what did the judge say?

The judge said that there was a significant enough change in the work to define it as new work, and that's the thing about art is that we're all referencing each other's work.

It is all derivative.

There are, in some sense, no new ideas.
