So let's jump into the answer to that question, which is, is, is the pathway to resolution the same for men as it is for women? Or is there some unique elements that to each that need to be addressed?
2:35
I think there's there's similarities and there's differences and it kind of gets back to what we talked a little bit about in the last episode, where you have to identify first and know first what your mission is and.
2:48
there's a there's a woman named Dr Deborah savage savage and she once said.
2:53
That men and women have unique missions that were given to them in the garden when they were first created.
3:00
And for a man, he was the first one there.
3:03
So he looks out onto the horizon and he sees creation itself.
3:08
And it speaks to Dan, you were speaking about this a little bit earlier, just sort of this idea of going out and conquering, you know, that was, that was man's mission to go out and conquer nature and take dominion over it and name all the animals and just, you know, he, he had the horizon as his mission so it was sort of charging him with going out and woman when she first was created.

And then begin to, I think, become for men that the challenge is to become the kind of man that the right kind of woman can entrust herself to.
3:39
Oh, okay
3:39
... of being oriented toward other.
3:41
And so kind of even understanding the basics of that, those foundout- foundational differences in the mission itself kind of then helps us speak to, okay, well what am I intended for? What am I oriented toward by my nature in creation? Um, and you see that in the woman's body and her receptivity.
4:01
She's meant to receive and then pour out, uh, life on others.
4:06
And so because men and women have been duped by society, which of course has that undertone of it was ultimately Satan's design from the beginning to, uh, culturally, uh, create this wedge between men and women and, and to, to have them misunderstand and misuse their natures, um, we're kind of, we're kind of grasping, trying to figure out what does that look like.
4:28
And so for women, I think it's really trying to understand what does it mean to be truly receptive? What does the word submission actually mean? Does that mean just roll over and, you know, allow a man to just walk all over me? No, of course not.
4:42
Because if a man is oriented toward his mission, you're actually uplifting him and holding him up in his mission, supporting him in that endeavor, and he in turn then can protect and defend the, the sacredness of your nature as this feminine, receptive being meant to be oriented toward the nurturing and care of others.

Mm-hmm.
5:20
And I don't think it's serving young men particularly well.
5:24
I think because also we don't have a script for them on what authentic masculinity even is.
5:32
So that is a loss of identity in what they're innately meant to be rooted in and understanding mission.
5:38
And the same can be said for women.
5:41
We don't actually know.
5:42
It's not ingrained around us and in our experience.
5:46
It's in fact quite the opposite what the culture tells women who they are and what they're meant for.
