You know, knowing kind of what you're up against as a boater in your opinion, what are some things that we should think about beyond, beyond the weather, beyond the fuel, the jump packs, what are some other things that we should be thinking about, you know, before we even leave the dock, you know, maybe some common blind spots or, or some false sense of security that we might have when we just hop in the boat and turn the key.

Yeah.

I mean, a lot of people don't go by float plans, you know, float plan is a, um is a good safety precaution you know let somebody know let family members know um you know where you're going or you're going to be at and what time you're expected home or what or when you're coming back to the dock that way if you go out and you you know you you're you're in a dead zone service with your phone or you don't have a vhf radio and you're caught dead out on the water at least When you don't get back when expected, the family members can call the Coast Guard or proper authorities and let them know where you're planning on going to be at and you're not back at home on time.

It's just your typical float plan.

Make sure you've got all your safety gear.

You're required to have your life jackets, your throat cushion, your fire extinguisher, your flares.

You've got to make sure you have all that on the boat too.

What are some of the things like maintenance wise that the average recreational boater sort of misses that can sometimes end up in a, you know, a call to CTO that maybe could have been avoided if they would have been a little bit more religious about certain maintenance items?
