It is, Shane, and it's the first arrest in the investigation into the disappearance and suspected murder of Daniel Arabose.

Daniel would now be eight years old, but he hadn't been seen for more than four and a half years.

He was last seen alive in the first half of 2021 at his home in the Gallery Apartments in Donabate in North County, Dublin.

He would have been three years old at the time.

Now, concerns were first raised after a routine check on social welfare payments at the Department of Protection at the Department of Social Protection.

That then led officials to Laertusla, which then contacted Gardaí Garda investigations then followed and that resulted in a search of wasteland around three to four kilometres from Daniel's home in Donabate.

This investigation, Barry, was upgraded just 10 days ago.
