And how did you get into this wonderful world of life science data that we all live in?

First of all, thank you for having me.

It's a real pleasure to be here, and I'm really looking forward to the conversation.

I got into life science and data...

Actually, you started the path and the journey for me.

Doing a PhD in neurobiology at the University of Washington, I had the wonderful fortunate experience to work with elite scientists at that institution, and, well, I was not nearly as capable as them in the lab.

I was pretty capable at the keyboard from my background in computer science.
