34:42
What was your thinking, Barry?
34:45
Well, I've never wavered.
34:48
Everybody who's asked me at any step along the way, I told them that I had no interest in running this horse in the Breeders' Cup because of the following.
34:58
Number one, he is a beagle.
35:00
horse um number two he's really not bred to be a two-year-old you know um he he looks like a derby horse he looks like a four-year-old right now he came around much quicker than either should mcgahee or i thought he would um he's just so talented and he went through his motions very quickly we ran him in the champagne because that was a logical thing to do but but sugar and i both knew before that no matter how he ran and how he won if he did that we were going to skip the breeders cup because we think that given his size and his potential in the future that he's had enough racing i mean he's had three fast races and for you know your audience knows about sectionals now So this horse has run, we have pace in our races.
35:56
In England, you don't get much pace.
35:58
So on pace, where this horse is fairly close, he ran his last quarter mile in all three of his races in 24 and three-fifths.
36:31
Well, that he's so good, he's so superior, that he could just win the Breeders' Cup juvenile on the bridle en route.
17:08
Just talk us through the decision to not run in the Breeders' Cup.
17:14
The Breeders' Cup was never, ever going to be in the plans, okay? This horse, as I've alluded to enough times here already, he is a big horse, okay? He's run three races.
17:28
He's run fast every time, okay? I think you can check this out.
17:34
I'm pretty sure he's run his last quarter in each of the three races, going six and a half, seven and eight furlongs, and 24 and three.
17:44
For a two-year-old colt, that is motoring.
17:47
He's had too many hard races, too many fast races.
17:51
And I just don't have the heart to bring him over there one more time this year.

6 MINS LATER

23:29
So what can we expect next as far as USS Valor's schedule? Does he get time off at the farm? Does he stay in training for a little bit? Maybe some light training? And where would we expect to maybe see him pop up? Maybe not a specific race, but would he be in Florida for the winter with Suge? Or where could we kind of expect him down the line?
21:40
Is that an indication that maybe you're coming back more to us racing? Where do things stand so far as, as, as you racing in Europe versus the U S and, you know, your thoughts about the current state of the game.
21:53
Right.
21:54
Um, Ideally, I want to have half as many horses in Europe as we do here.
22:01
And we've gotten to that point now.
22:03
A lot of the horses here got long in the tooth and we said bye-bye to them.
22:10
We have some young horses coming up.
22:13
You know, as lucky as I am, I'll digress for one second.
25:30
Tell us a little bit about that labor of love and what you think about it.
