After Alan and Beryl opened the Jacaranda, Alan soon ventured into getting into the business of representing various, then they were known as groups, but today they're called bands.

And the Jacaranda was famous for a lot of them frequenting it.

Jerry and the Pacemakers, Rory Storm, lots of people used to be in and out.

The Jacaranda was then in a very quiet part of Liverpool.

There were hardly any clubs and restaurants about.

But now, today, the Jacaranda is still open and it's a drinking bar now.
