Building.
11:18
Building the character, 'cause the character has built in the first season.
11:22
But yes, to build the, you know, the arc of Maria in this, in this, uh, second season.
11:29
That is amazing, and I love it so much, and it's so similar to my really, to my life.
11:36
So, um, it's been, yeah, really good.
11:40
[laughs]
13:45
But what's coming up for you as a musician?
13:47
Thank you so much.
2:15
Congratulations on the second season, guys.
2:16
Thank you.
2:17
Thank you so much.
3:52
You would agree Barbara?
3:53
Yes, completely.
3:54
And also the first season it's like.
3:59
knowing the characters, knowing the world, knowing the society, knowing what is happening.
4:04
And then this season is going deeper into that knowing that we already exist there.

31:34
So talk to me about maybe a micro example in season two of either that really kind of stuck with you, that you couldn't unsee, that really kind of got in your head of like, wow, this was real.
31:53
For me, I think it would be the constant underestimating of women and their capacities.
32:01
And these women obviously gained, rightfully so, their place in the police force.
32:08
And still season two, you see them having to struggle with that and having to convince men that they're valuable to the police force and they're valuable to the case.
32:21
And I think one of the most important themes also for each of the characters is sort of them navigating this new place that they are living and that they're embodying, that they gained in season one, and still... having to come to terms with who they are now and what they want and getting what they want, which is definitely challenging in this season.
33:26
Is there a specific example of said corruption that your brain was like, how could this even go on?
33:34
Well, just, you know, I mean, I don't want to spoil at all for this season, but I think that it's a reality that a lot of our countries live.
33:50
I think this, what's going to be interesting for people all around the world to see is that, you know, this was something that actually really happened and that was happening in many Latin American countries before.
