How do you incorporate that into the work on the self-acceptance sort of hand-in-hand?
10:01
There are ways to mix up your routine and still get everything done that you need it to get done.
10:08
I don't check my email at the same time every day.
10:12
I do check it at some point every day, when the inspiration hits, [laughs] right? When it, when it makes sense for that particular day.
10:20
I get it done, but I, I don't necessarily have it scheduled at 3:00 PM, and I certainly don't worry about whether my inbox is at zero.
10:31
I just don't.
10:32

So, um, if it's ADHD, um, I, I love to work with people who are diagnosed with ADHD, and I help them understand how ADHD is affecting their brain and teach them strategies to, um, feel less scattered, to be more focused on the tasks that are most important to them.
3:52
Um, I do a lot of education and support around helping people understand and accept themselves, um, because I believe that's kind of the, the root of the issue.
4:04
They need to believe in themselves, um, to, to start moving forward.
4:09
Um, but ADHD or not, because not everybody I work with has ADHD, um, I find that the concerns people have, the procrastination, the overwhelm, are exacerbated by those underlying emotions that I mentioned.
4:26
Um, for example, it's really hard to get started [laughs] on a project if you feel like an imposter, right? Um, if you have that imposter syndrome, you're gonna struggle to, to get going.
8:11
What should I have asked you today, Barb, that I didn't, and what would your answer be?
