Tom Francis, the 26-year-old stage actor best known for starring opposite, uh, Nicole Scherzinger in Sunset Boulevard, has reportedly auditioned to play James Bond in the next installment of the long-running franchise.

According to the report, the casting search is still ongoing and is being overseen by casting director Nina Gold.

Francis is one of several actors rumored to be, uh, in contention for the iconic role, alongside names like Jacob Elordi, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Callum Turner.

Cosmo Jarvis was also rumored, [laughs] though his representatives denied he is involved in the Bond search.

While Francis has built a strong reputation on stage, his screen career is still relatively new.

He recently appeared in Jay Kelly and is set to star in The Mosquito Bowl, uh, alongside Nicholas, uh, Galitzine and Bill Skarsgård.
