Do you want to talk a little bit about the difference between something like a regular massage that someone might get and a manual lymph drainage massage?

Babs TobinGUEST
So a couple of key things is with a manual lymph drainage massage, it's very specific to the anatomy of the lymphatic system.

Babs TobinGUEST
So we're opening up the terminus region, the area where the clavicles are, that helps to open up this major drain, so this major toll booth.

Babs TobinGUEST
And then we stimulate the lymph nodes closest to the area that we're working on.

Babs TobinGUEST
So say if we're working on someone with upper extremity lymphedema, we're going to wake up the axillary, the armpit lymph nodes, cubital fossa, the inner elbow lymph nodes, the sternal lymph nodes, the clavicular lymph nodes.
