At the end of her freshman year, Aila and two other students spoke at a school board meeting.

And we went person by person with our printed out scripts in hand, and in a very public way aired this massive grievance and said, "We are no longer waiting for change, and minimally some policy reform." Uh, and made that demand really public.

And we asked to be brought to the table to be a part of the policy reform.

And again, a summer passed and nothing happened.

So I came back my sophomore year.

I heard some new stories of sexual assault from the summer and I honestly became really fed up.

Later that day, Aila was called to the principal's office.
