mean, TI has also, I think, had... four different group stage formats over the years now right um and some of them have been better some they like did once and we're not doing this again just the nature of the game they've kind of now stuck on like two large groups and that two large groups has either been a full round robin or a swiss which has also changed honestly i think their factors are more the logistics of it than the integrity at this point like how many days you have to run this shit um I always like the full round robin, but Dota fans tend to just like big, lengthy formats that play a lot of games because they feel like it's better integrity, more costly.

I think they are a team where if they get to the higher pressure situation, they're going to perform better than almost any team in the world relative to the low pressure situations.

Like they are true big light merchants in that sense.

And so they need lengthier tournament formats to get there because they need to grow and pick up their pace.
129:48
If you only play two series and go home, you might've never even seen them do anything, right? Like, and so I think that does speak to why you need some lengthy formats in Dota because every tournament has its own meta.
