I think there were times when my dad and I weren't really getting along.

Honestly, it took until I was probably, like, 21 for me and my dad to have as strong as a bond as we do now, and I think it was mostly, like, taking financials out of it.

Like, at that point, he wasn't paying for anything for me anymore and I was able to just, like, be around him in the capacity of, like, you're my dad and I wanna be here 'cause I love you and I wanna hang out with you.

Not because I feel like I have to, not because you're holding something over my head, not because you're not gonna pay my car bill if I don't, you know.

But I, I think I handle my breakups a little bit differently.

Like, I don't stay in contact with any of my exes like that.

Like, I don't stay in the same friend group with them.
