Niamh CassidyHOST
And Audrey, for you in your own pricing journey and in when you came into this work, what was it that you kind of found the hardest about picking a price, or what was the moment where you realized that you had to do things different?

Audrey McEnteeGUEST
So I worked for, within an agency at the first time when I first started out, and I found that I didn't have to think about anything in regards to pricing or stuff like that, so that took the hard part for me off.

Audrey McEnteeGUEST
But then when I started working out on my own, I found it very hard to price myself then because I kind of un- undervalued the, my experience, my knowledge, my education.

Audrey McEnteeGUEST
And then when I started talking to other doulas in the industry, people are very protective of their pricing system.

Audrey McEnteeGUEST
I don't know whether that's because others will undercut them or what have you, but I find if we are all on the same page and we're all charging similar prices, then people will go to you for who you are and not the price that you're charging.

Audrey McEnteeGUEST
And they will look at your expertise, they will look at if you're connecting with them.
