How did you get your start in the industry?

Okay, well, you know, I think that some people, and that applies to me, are just born with the show business bug.

And I always knew that's what I wanted to do.

And I began as a child in all the school plays.

And then I moved on to the local theater groups.

And I had a creative... and I started writing poetry at like 11, and I got my first soap opera.

Actually, I wrote my first song first, which got me the audition for the soap opera, which was called The Secret Storm.

Looking back, I mean, was did you realize like how big the show was? Was there ever like a pinch me moment where you were like, holy cow, I can't believe I'm actually part of this series?

You never saw the Broadway show? I

had not seen it until I was already filming.

And I was on tour.

In Europe, my mom and I had just finished an amazing experience.

I had gotten my gold record presentation in Paris.

I had done a big concert, the Palm Casino in Cannes.

I mean, it was just like an amazing whirlwind.

How did you prepare for that role to play a real person?
