How did you land it? What role did you have? What was the projects that you work on or worked on? Like, tell me all about it.

I was just very lucky that my journalism program would send out these, like, I think they called them Monday morning updates, and it would have some job listings and internship listings.
11:51
And graduation was approaching fast, and I did not have a job.
11:54
And just one morning I saw this American Girl public relations internship, and I lost my mind as I explained.
12:01
[laughs] You know, all of a sudden my world exploded, and I realized American Girl was right here.
12:04
So I ended up- Applying, bringing that letter I wrote when I was in [laughs] seventh grade and to the HR person, and I remember her being like, "Oh my God." 'Cause at the time, I, I really believe it was, like, me and two to three other women who had actually played with the dolls but then went on to work there.
12:22
It was 2006, like, not a lot of people who had played with the dolls were old enough to actually be working at the company, or who had, like, played them maybe as hard as we had, you know, like, for, like, a full decade, [laughs] to be really be super fans.

Okay, moving on into books and events, how did those come about? Because you've written some books, and I believe you've written some events for the American Girl stores, right?
