Where do they miss the mark when they're trying to support student wellbeing?
15:50
understanding its significance and its complexity i think you know right back to that first thing is this is something that we can do on the side we see a lot of schools dealing in crisis response so they go oh my goodness we've got an issue with vaping or bullying or water online safety and suddenly they run off they try and find a course and really you know they have value there's no doubt about it we deliver those courses we sell those products and things like that but But what's consistent amongst all of it is how do I create a strategy? How do schools understand that what they're investing in, both from a time and even financially, I guess, will deliver the impact that it needs? So what we see is the better performing wellbeing schools are those who have the capacity and time very often, but can put together a proper cohesive strategy, preferably over multiple years.
16:40
So how do I hold a student's hand through their development cycle over multiple years is a key part of it.
16:46
So as opposed to that sort of fragmentive reactive approach to these things, how do I put a proper plan in place that says, yes, my intent is to build this capability across my students.
16:57
And you might build that capability by having a discussion around, I mean, vaping is a big product that we sell at the moment.
17:03
But really, the underlying skill set behind vaping is around refusals.
17:07
It's around managing peer group pressure.
