So I guess, why don't you let us know a little bit about what that is? referee academy is like and what are the type of things that you do

in it so we started it i think about about last year we were talking about it i remember we had what polly from the new zealand rugby to come talk to us but it was still in its very early stages there and by the start of end of last year and start of this year we'd got quite a few boys mostly year 10 so maybe my age of the year below quite interested and this year We've really coordinated with the Bay of Plenty Rugby and we've been able to really set up some good referees with proper training.

So we'll get messaged, you know, through the week and we'll say there are games on Friday here and here.

And it'll just be that easy to say, yep, I'll do that.

And then pop down after school and get a Friday game, maybe a Saturday morning game.

And it's just been really, really easy for some of the new referees to, you know, to, to get that experience early and not have to wait for the appointments, you know, just do, do games nice and close to close to home and then have all the rest of the boys there and support.

And for the last question, so for any young person or actually any person listening who loves rugby but is not sure about picking up the whistle, What would you say to encourage someone to give refereeing a go? I'd say that,
