So we used the Trinitix database, which includes electric health records from about 113 million patients across the United States.

We chose it because it gives us the scale and diversity needed for the study.

Because patients who receive GOP1 medications are often very different from those who don't.

We used two complementary methods to make the groups more comparable.

One is propensity score matching.
