... is saying, "Implement AI, do something with AI." And that for a lot of people is m- a really n- not the way you wanna interact with the new technology.

And, you know, the diffusion model, technol- technology diffusion model has never been about somebody top down saying, "Use this, use this." But again, this is a weird adoption curve that we're on with AI, and I think it's to do with a lot of, um, societal and macroeconomic factors as to why it's coming through that way.

In terms of, um, policy in this space, one thing that I would add is, um, I'm sure everyone on this call has felt it, as policy people who work in tech, sometimes we have to translate to our tech friends that the ethos of move fast and break things is not the way that policy can be made.

And I think that's where the disconnect is when we have a lot of leaders in the tech space who've grown up with, and I, I, I've, I, I, I've, um, uh, no ill will towards them, but they've grown up around a culture of move fast and break things, and then they rock up to DC and they're like, "Why can't I just move fast and break things?"

... o- of policy or regulation on question of data ownership and user ownership of AI?

Art AbalGUEST
I mean, the, uh, I've always held this, and I, I, I, I will probably say this to the day that I die, that I think that if you've created the thing, you should own it.
