Tell us more about who you are and what you do.

Sure.

So I've been an artist since I could pick up a crayon.

I went... [chuckles] I- I've been in many, you know, art contests as I was growing up.

I went to art school briefly in Ringling School of Art in Florida.

And then I decided to pivot and become a marketer, and I went to school for marketing, and my career took off from there.

So I was a corporate marketer for 25 years, and as of June of last year, 2025, I, I decided to go all in on my side hustle, my art business as a fine artist.

[laughs]

When you sit down on it with an empty canvas, do you already know what it's going to look like? And then your job is just to execute your vision? Or does it also create itself as you go?

It's a great question.

There's a lot of parts to it, actually.

The most daunting thing, we talk about it all the time on my show.

I'm kind of giggling a little because the most daunting thing is a blank canvas or blank paper, right? If you're a writer.

When I start my paintings, I usually cover it with some kind of color.

It doesn't really even matter.

you have you're not very far long into the business and you've added a online interior design store which on the face of it may not may not be consistent with a fine art business is the reason you did it for the same reason i did it which is you need some more income
