Right, so when
9:38
you think about models today, people immediately think of the latest and greatest frontier models, you know, models from OpenAI, models from Anthropic, Google, and those are general purpose large models.
9:48
They are really good at lots and lots of different things.
9:51
What we were trying to do is, look, for network operations, you want a model that understands networks intimately.
9:57
You're not going to ask this model to write poetry for you.
10:00
And so what you can do is build a specific deep model that is not trillions of parameters.
10:06
It's billions of parameters.
13:57
What made you so convicted in the fact that this is the way to go? And what have you delivered so far? What should people, if people know the campus and branch networking from a year ago, what do they not know about workplace networking today?
9:37

1:07
yeah fantastic uh yeah everything that you said uh i'm pretty sure we all have used and those who have been listening as well i've used it in some or the other way so that's fantastic okay uh we've had like the keynote today morning fantastic announcements made uh so much excitement around the i.t managers the enterprise leaders and uh also the collaborators the community um i'm kind of curious to hear from you what are your key takeaways but also whatever what were the focus areas for the things that were announced today
1:39
yeah so i think one big takeaway of course is cisco cloud control you know that's a marquee announcement uh we have a platform and that's the front door to the platform that's how humans and ai will collaborate to manage infrastructure and i'm very excited And then if I just look at the part of Cisco's business that I'm directly responsible for, what's very exciting is when you think about AI and networking, the conversation has been very focused on what's happening in the data center space.
2:05
And it is very exciting, trillions of dollars are being put into building data centers.
2:09
I think the story that hasn't been talked about until now is what is the implication of that in the workplace? where you and I and everyone works.
2:17
And what we're seeing is everyone is starting to use agents in the workplace.
2:21
And in fact, the people who are living on the bleeding edge, they're talking about agent maxing, using agents for pretty much everything.
2:28
And when you think about how agents operate, they actually put more load on the network.

5 MINS LATER

7:45
But in the next maybe six to eight months, how do you see the space evolving? And what would be your advice to the IT managers out there who want to reshape their ecosystem and want to be confident about implementing different applications across the organizations? What are your thoughts? So, you
