People ask me about this sometimes.

I grew up in South Armagh.

I was born in 1970, so I was right in the middle of the Troubles.

The Troubles were getting going at that point.

A little place called Glastromand is where I was from, which is in the town of Silver Ridge.

For people looking in and for people that haven't lived through any of that, it's so abnormal to even think about some of the things that you've just touched on there now, but it was normalised in that environment that you grew up because everybody was experiencing it in some way or form.
