all the great work we need you for what you do so thank you i know a lot of new graduates like especially in the er i feel like they fumble with the the eye word the imposter syndrome kind of a thing so what advice would you give to a new veterinarian who feels overwhelmed or worries they're just not ready for real world medicine in general
3:46
Well, I guess the first thing I would say is that's normal.
3:48
That's natural that you're going to feel that way.
3:50
And understand that's not true.
3:53
You got to trust your training.
3:54
You just went through an intensive four-year program.
3:57
If you're coming into ER, ideally, you should have also done some other postgraduate training like an internship or an ER academy type thing like we have.

So what does that look like?
3:13
I would love to kind of go back to your story with your brother and what that looked like for your family and the traveling and where the passion for this even started.
3:25
Well, I mean, not everybody can afford lodging.
3:30
I mean, and the hotel industry is great, but sometimes it's just unaffordable when you have that.
3:37
And in this situation, we were three and a half hours from home, and they live in Columbia City, and you travel down to...
3:46
Cleveland Ohio and it allowed there was a little flexibility it's was for one caregiver so we actually were steered to a place called st. Vitus now st. Vitus had an apartment building across from the church and we thought how wonderful is this we can pray while across the street come back but it was not a good place in Cleveland Ohio and the Hope Lodge had reached out to me and said we have a place for you if you'd like so I I went down there and I realized that this was a place of hope, care, and love.
4:23
They just wanted to help everybody in that need.
4:26
They had a van to take you there, communal kitchen, which was a super, super attractive thing for people because even the lightest nod, you know, even talking to people, helping people, you know, I'm an Italian, grew up in New York city and love to cook.

Can you talk about how Michael's House will offer that to people?
