And then regularly, those platforms have to send to the local authority the usage data.

So that is how many nights it was rented out for, the number of people in the property, the address, and so on.

So I, I, I'm a bit bemused when they want to create a register.

By the mere fact of one, one, let's call it intervention tool, the councils would know exactly, and the country would know exactly who is on the short-term rental accommodation market.
