I moved out there with my band, who one of the members of that band, Matt, is a member of Disco Lemonade.

I just looked around after being in L.A. for a few years and I saw that no one was having any fun.

They were all doing music, but nobody was really having fun.

It was very serious.

The tone was serious.

Do you ever play originals or do you purely do mashups? And do you feel there's a tension at all, like as a musician of wanting to express that part of yourself, but maybe not feeling that the audience wants you to do that? How does that work as a cover and mashup band?
