Well, the, the, they could have done a lot, but the, the, the, the, the bit that it's really all about is empathy, and, and it's about aliens.

Anthony BeechGUEST
[laughs] But it's, uh, to some extent they get these aliens who've crashed in spacecraft, and then they're doing just dreadful things to these aliens who are like sentient beings basically.

Anthony BeechGUEST
And the aliens are saying, "Look, if you're gonna work together as a sort of human race, you've gotta work together.

Anthony BeechGUEST
And the best things that we've got as human beings is empathy." And we have got empathy, and we got empathy when we work with clients.

Anthony BeechGUEST
So empathy is- All through the criminal justice system, whether it be all the way from, like, uh, policing, you know, and to be aware of people's backgrounds, all the way through to when people are sentenced, all the way to, as we know, when we treat people.

What, what do you think the, the future direction should be?

Anthony BeechGUEST
I mean, to some extent, I think some of the stuff I've written about, um, I mean, I'm sort of semi-retired.

Anthony BeechGUEST
I still seem to be doing stuff, but maybe some things I'm not fully aware of and I've not caught up with.

Anthony BeechGUEST
But I mean, the stuff we've all been saying that we're not going back to, um, looking at treatment.

Anthony BeechGUEST
You know, typically you get people in a room for two hours [laughs] and berate them, and, uh...

Anthony BeechGUEST
But, I mean, I always say, when I give talks I say, "Look, okay, I'm not gonna talk for an hour.
