Yeah, so as we face up to the climate crisis, it's very much something we need to take notice of.

And when we see animals in this kind of Western capitalistic lens, there's just a lot of holes in this approach.

Like, on the one hand, OK, yeah, you can use it to inspire business people to fund nature protection and you can use it to inspire government bodies to fund nature protection.

And that's a lot of ways that, you know, scientists appeal in their grant applications.

But...

there are a lot of animals that one, we don't know enough about, so we don't know what their contribution is.
