David BoldemanHOST
What was your aha moment, Anne, when you were teaching people about sexual education that made you realise that we, as humans, had gotten this wrong? How did you work it out?

Anne PhilpottGUEST
I think it's, as ever with these aha moments, they build on other experiences you've had, right? So I think probably a lot of us, our lived experience, where my sex education at my all-girls school consisted entirely of our biology teacher, Mr Graham, bless him, who was given the task and looked terrified, first of all, and then came into the biology lab and said, I found a fail safe way to prevent you getting pregnant.

And then he said, just take the aspirin, put it between your knees and hold it there.
