And they've got a recent queen, maybe it's a late swarm, whatever you want it to be.

Yeah, I would make sure they were healthy, that their mites were dead.

Make sure that they have... frames full of honey and some pollen.

You might have to find some from bigger hives to donate to them.

That's something I didn't know way, way back when I began was that you could just give donations.

I just, I was like, well, will this hive collect enough for itself? That was the only thing I thought of as a way for bees to get supplies or me feeding them sugar syrup.

And that's valid too.

They go crazy.

As far as big crops go, that was my hope that soybean would be a thing for honeybees.

But some places way out west, I was driving one time across Nebraska and into Colorado.

And in western Nebraska, the whole place was covered with sunflowers.

The idea of when you said I was a young man, it instantly made me remember a phrase that I say to people that I've been tutoring or mentoring.

And apparently I say it so much that they got some shirts made this year and they gave me one and they all wore them.

So apparently that's my motto.

Anyways, Chris Cripps, who is one of the owners of Better Be Here, he made a presentation one time and he asked me if he could use this photo I had of myself of the whole right-hand side of my face swollen up, my eyes completely closed shut, the eyelids were swollen shut.

And he was like, can I use this in a presentation? It's going to be in a kind of funny point.

But by the middle of the summer, when I take a lot more stings, I got better.

Yeah, Jim, I wanted to tell folks about the Better Be newsletter that recently came out.

And we have an article about treating mites in hot weather because some miticides, you can't use them if they're any hotter.

If the temperature is any higher than 85, that would be formic pro, which I consider the best miticide because it kills the mites that are inside the brood cells.

But there's others that you can use like Apigard, You can use all the way up to 105 degrees.

And by June in the south, people generally won't have their supers on.

And then things like Apigard or Apilife Var, which also has time all like Apigard does, you can use them as long as your supers are off.

And I'd like to think that that's better than nothing, but apparently at times it might be worse than nothing.
