I don't want anyone to have a bad experience with the channel because I think that does us all a disservice.

The challenge with affiliates is that it's so vast and so varied and you're working across multiple different partners who are optimizing your program in different ways.
A
3:27Annabel GrayGUEST
So that's what's great about it is its ability to scale, but it's also what makes it quite challenging to manage because you need to understand what each of those individual partners are doing and to monitor them.

So that quite often causes a bit of a knowledge gap in terms of what do I need to look out for and what are the flags in terms of is this valuable is it not and so that's what I sort of I try and work to close is to make sure everyone has confidence in the results that they're getting and they know that they are adding value but some of the things that we look at so we have a range of different triggers so there's behavioral do we suddenly see like performance spiking from partners that suddenly haven't done anything, and then suddenly it's just gone through the roof overnight.

adjust as time goes on Annabel you said something about you touched on sale moments and the channel not just being about that how does Clever Brand react to sale moments because you are product led as a message so what's your sort of strategy in the sale moments in Australia and has that has that been a little bit of an inroad into testing a few new audiences because obviously it might be that yeah like a slightly different audience is fully into you know a Black Friday sale.
A

So sale moments like they are obviously important for all advertisers and it's making sure that you've got um, the right placement secured.
A
23:07Annabel GrayGUEST
Um, we may not have all of the detail on what that specific messaging may be, but we know sort of top line who we want to be seen when we want to book those in.
A
23:15Annabel GrayGUEST
So we make sure we secure placements early, um, across the funnel as I was Tying up all the way.
A
23:24Annabel GrayGUEST
We tend to see more of those conversion partners as more important towards the key sales period.

But beforehand, we may have some upper funnel activity in terms of the education awareness while everyone's filling up their shopping cart and getting ready and waiting for sales to start.

So what does the program look like in terms of sort of the commission structure at the moment?
