So if I'm a hop grower, I spend 12 years developing a brand new hop, which is, you know, you cross things, you pheno hunt, you back cross, you stabilize the genetics so that you get that distinct uniform, stable genetic.

And then you go to the Plant Variety Protection office, and you say, "I've bred this brand new hop.
