Mm-hmm.

Just kind of transitioning into a new routine and a new schedule, not being in classes anymore, um, not having dual meets every other weekend or whatever it might be.

Um, I didn't detach myself right away, just because a lot of my friends are still on the team, and I think as my first year pro, like, I think relying on those people to still be around me was really important, um, just having, like, a lot of my close friends with me all the time.

But also separating from the sense of, okay, I'm not on the team anymore, and just trying to balance, like, that difference of, you know, not being a captain anymore or not being, like, a leader in the way of the college team, like, stepping back and being a leader as a pro swimmer, as, um ...

Like, Lilly King was always so inspiring to me in that way.

She was such, like, a good leader from a pro aspect and would step back when she needed to, would interfere when she needed to.

Just kind of figuring out that difference, I would say.

... and predictions.

Oh my gosh.

So I feel like this entire season, even last year, um, in my undergrad, like freshman, sophomore, junior year, we were just pretty bad at football.

That's not, like, any secret.

But once we hired Kurt Signatti, he just turned the program around in so many good ways.

And, like, the culture of the student body at IU, like, everyone just became more invested and more excited in the program, and it translates to every sport, I feel like, at IU.

Like, the swim team gets motivated from it, the basketball team, every other team gets so motivated from success.

So fun.
