Yeah, I don't think I did despair.

I think I thought, huh, well, this isn't great and I would love Dave to be engaged with Faith but he's not.

But his life's not over and my life's not over so let's play the long game here.

And retaining the relationship was really important to me.

I never wanted him to... feel like I didn't love him because he wasn't a Christian or he wasn't living the life I was living or he'd made different choices.

I wanted him to know that I was a safe place for him, someone he could trust, someone he could love and be assured of love from.

How do you hold that tension? Like how do I not shy away and not fall into the trap of just it's a lot easier to never, ever – take those opportunities versus not blowing it all up.

... explain how I kinda fell into real estate and, and, and the history there.

So, you know, I, I went to college for psychology, wanting to be a forensic psychologist.

The school that I went to didn't have that particularly, so I, I studied psychology with a minor in forensic.

You know, I did well.

I had an internship with the state of Colorado.

That internship led into a, a researcher job, and I was really studying our tax revenue and our institutions, our, our non-private prison systems on where tax money was being fed and led into for educational programs that were being offered versus what they, the inmates, they needed.

Maybe you can speak a little bit to that 'cause it very much ties in with what you were j- I think just saying.
