25:40
Tell us about this.
25:41
Yes.
25:42
So I'm gonna be at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.
25:44
I'm doing 2:22 A Ghost Story.
25:47
So it was a huge hit in the West End.
25:50
Um, it's got Jasmine Cephas Jones, who's amazing, Finn Jones.
25:54
Um, it's a beautiful play about ghosts, about love, about unrequited love.
26:45
No.
17:17
And I'm curious what it's been like for you to sort of really find the nuance in that and play that kind of note across a spectrum of different characters in your career?
17:26
Great question.
17:27
I definitely enjoy playing people that have a lot brewing underneath.
17:34
And it gives me a challenge as an actor that you don't always get, like if you're just playing, I don't know, the or whatever it might be.
17:41
I'm having an inner conflict that I don't, like I already am coming into a scene fighting something, which is why I love playing characters like that because I'm always active.
17:53
Even if I'm not talking or just listening or whatever it may be, there's always this fight within my soul and myself that hopefully with the writing, and actors owe so much to their writers, if you're given a time to break and what it's like when that character breaks, like after you've held everything back, Those are also very exciting things to play.
18:15
But yeah, I'm very driven to playing complicated women who present themselves one way while underneath they are literally either falling apart or terrified of something.

9 MINS LATER

27:51
And I was wondering, do you think the way the industry is now, that a franchise like that would be able to be made and take off the way that it did?
31:56
I'm sure you guys, it never stops.
31:59
It doesn't.
32:00
And it's like, I know people say like, it's part of the job and you know, all of that.
32:04
And like, I, I mean, it's like to a point, to a point it's part of the job.
32:09
Like I didn't sign up to get like attacked or sign up, sign up to get like screamed at.
32:14
Like I got screamed at the airport right after scream came out.
32:17
A girl was going through the metal.

10 MINS LATER

42:15
But I'm just curious if like you ever thought about that or you do you have any relation to that? Did you give yourself grace for your past and now living like really in your truth or no, not really at all?

14:08
Anna, what about you? Do you have any culty recollections?
14:11
I have a lot of culty recollections.
14:13
[laughs] The main thing which is pretty culty is, so my senior year of high school, I then went into my college program, and it's a conservatory, but w- all of the theater students are only allowed to wear black.
14:25
So we have to wear black everything.
14:28
No matter where we're going, every single class, we're wearing black until you get to be, like, a junior or a senior, then you can, like, start to add a little color to your wardrobe in every class.
14:38
So you could see the theater students walking through the campus, just this herd of we're all wearing black.
14:45
We have black bandanas on.

17 MINS LATER

31:40
So yeah, I guess the cult worship of a charismatic middle-aged man.
14:59
Is that one analysis?
15:01
I think that could be.
15:03
Yeah, definitely.
15:04
I did not think of it that way at all.
15:07
But I think now that you're saying it out loud, it could be.
15:11
I played it just as who Jessica was as a person.
15:15
And kind of like as an actor, I have to fill... like what it means for the person to be, you know, obsessed with Sidney Prescott.

29 MINS LATER

How has love for you evolved in this chapter of your life? What's been the most exciting thing about it?
