Stacy BlackmanHOST
So, like, what was going on in your head when you went into finance and then into food?

Ann HsingGUEST
Um, so if you're following the timeline, I graduated from college in 2002, a year after the tech bubble burst, and I graduated from Kellogg in '09, a year after Lehman crashed.

Ann HsingGUEST
[laughs] So I, uh, I joke around, next time I go back to school we should all just short the market, but, uh, [laughs] some- something, something big will happen.

Ann HsingGUEST
Um, so, you know, I worked so hard to get this summer internship, um, in sales and trading.

Ann HsingGUEST
It, it wasn't easy coming from Kellogg because, again, there are Kellogg people in finance, it's just not a ton of positions, so there's maybe one position for the summer at every single bank.

Ann HsingGUEST
Um, fortunate enough to get a position there, and then the summer of 2008 the h- the higher rate out of an internship was, I think, 30 or 40%.
