What did your blindness bring into that counseling room that a sighted therapist could not have brought?

Oh, well, let's see.

So, um, I think go to what you just said about what did I bring to the counseling, the counseling of veterans and their families that decided counselor couldn't is that I couldn't see people.

So they tended to disclose with me probably sooner and with less fear or anxiety because I couldn't see them.

Um, and, and, uh, I often got to places and, uh, in people's, uh, disclosing that maybe other counselors wouldn't get to as quickly.

I can't prove that there's no data for that, but that's just, that's how I felt.

Um, you know, with, you know, after doing it for so long.
