Can you contextualize, let's say, the step of manufacturing a battery and the economics behind them?
12:44
I'll start with this, right? The kind of number that I would use is for a 10 gigawatt hour plant, right? It's about $300 million in the U.S., So that's the kind of CapEx that you're looking for, plus whatever OpEx that you need to keep the lights on, to pay electricity, a bunch of other things, water, et cetera, et cetera, chemicals and all that.
13:11
And that's a large amount.
13:13
That's not easy to come by.
13:16
but the steps that you said is first you get your again not all battery manufacturers do this most battery manufacturers are you know when we say battery manufacturers it's a shorthand for cell manufacturers so it's like a little cell that's there think of your cell that you use for your like a little cylindrical cell that we use in the house, AA or AAA batteries.
13:42
So think of that, right? One cell.
13:46
And it's basically that cell manufacturing line or the gigafactory that makes that is what it's a shorthand for that.
17:12
So my next question for you is assuming that a founder is working in one of these steps of the battery manufacturing, why is so hard today to address the problem in a, let's say capital efficient way?
