How did you get involved, first of all, in writing Luke? Was there a sort of inspiration-type moment for it?
15:56
So I guess there are two questions.
15:59
One is I became aware of Red Stitch almost a decade ago now, and I knew that they had a pathway program for developing new artists.
16:13
So I became interested in that.
16:17
And then I was selected a few years ago to be part of the Ink program, and it was a discussion.
16:25
The way that they work is it's good to be able to write for the ensemble.

for the writer to change?
9:16
I once did a play called Human Error many years ago.
9:20
And I saw the first preview and realised that it was too long.
9:23
And I went home that night and crossed out everything that needed to be.
9:28
Hold on, the poor actor.
9:30
Poor actor, absolutely.
9:31
Yeah.

How long was that process for you?
