But I mean, how did you how did you end up working there, though?

Uh, you know, I, I started working with Sonny down at Irving Rec Center and, and, uh, the first year I worked there in 79, I just did maintenance and I kind of watched how he, what he did with kids down there.

And he kind of seen how I kind of interacted with some of the kids and on my breaks and stuff like that.

And, and, uh, he kind of took me under his wing and this is Sonny Halbach.

He worked for Parks and Rec for 35 years and, And I wouldn't be the man I am today without him.

Um, and he just kind of started me working with, uh, kids through the parks and rec.

And he put me out in Riverside for my first time at a little shack out there and said, it's all yours for the winter, you know, make sure the kids skates are tight and they're behaving and play a little ping pong, play a little foosball, whatever, and make sure they're behaving.

Can you do any come to mind?
