How did you come up with this balance? Is it family? Does this, is this innate in you, or?

Um, I think spirituality was, was the first kinda step towards finding purpose and intention in the work.

Um, I think after working 10 years for someone else and helping someone else build a successful business, you know, it kinda, it dawned upon me, like, well, I don't, I don't feel whole, you know? Like, this doesn't really fulfill me.

And you know, I started thinking back of all the things that inspired me to get into fashion and, you know, how I was inspired by music and hip hop and community, and also what was happening.

You know, if you think about 10 years ago, you, there was, like, an, like, kind of like an, an aggressive gentrification that was happening in New York City.

Mm.

So all this energy is going to this brand that I'm currently working for, right? But that's not what I'm all about, you know what I mean? Like, I, I wasn't, I wasn't fully...

So Supreme was never my brand, you know? So, like, I wanna have something that speaks to me, like, what I'm into, the things that I'm, I'm inspired by.
