You know, you can't create in your home what you've not created in yourself or cultivated in yourself.

If you want staff who are reflective rather than defensive, you have to model reflection.

If you want staff who can stay steady when a young person is dysregulated, you have to be able to stay steady yourself.

You know, emotions are contagious in a children's home.

I don't know if you've ever experienced that.
