And so the postpartum season, we have no guarantee of how long the identifiable postpartum season of, "I just don't want sex," is going to last for an individual woman.

And so there really needs to be an acknowledgement that the Bible calls us to live in our season, that when we try and m- and l- live as though we are not in a certain season, that is not where the blessings come, right? God does not bless us when we try to move out of the season that He has appointed for us.

Give yourself up sacrificially for her." And so this is a season of him needing to be understanding, of honoring where her body and her hormones are at, making it safe for her to rest, making it safe for her to prioritize her healing and everything that needs to be happening in her brain and her body, and that- It's an investment in the future of the marriage.
