When did you realize that your future was going to be a nonprofit leadership?
11:28
So I was working for I left Morgan Stanley acquired Smith Barney in 2000, like late 2009, early 2010.
11:36
And I stayed on with Morgan Stanley for a year and I left and I went to MetLife Investors.
11:41
And all I did was ultra high net worth wealth and estate transfer planning for the best clients of financial advisors at some of the wire houses.
11:49
And I liked that work because it's like a giant puzzle, right? So you have a business owner who's going to wants to get out of the business, wants to make sure his employees are taken care of, wants a successful business succession plan, also wants to do something for his kids, maybe wants to do something for philanthropy.
12:04
So it's always kind of like this big puzzle of what's out there.
12:08
What is to your point? What's the tax code currently and how do we help them accomplish their goals with what they have? And, you know, what can we reposition again to your point? It's not just your 401k and your savings.

So what exactly is the great wealth transfer? I've seen you've been talking a lot about this lately.
6:26
Talk about where they were struggling and where you felt uniquely qualified to help them.
6:33
I love that you say I felt uniquely qualified.
6:36
I'm gonna tell you right now, I did not feel uniquely qualified.
6:39
I don't know that I've ever felt qualified for anything I've ever done in my entire life, but I am driven by passion and the belief that we can learn the skills we need to impact not only those who work with us, but those around us in the community.
6:53
And it's that belief and that fire that keeps me going.
6:56
I spent seven years at Mercy Home and it was fantastic.
6:59
I lived in Chicago for four years and I lived in Houston for four years and commuted.

And what are you doing to expand the possibilities for folks?
