I mean, just take me through the mindset of what you feel like you can bring Philly on a night-to-night basis.
3:53
Yeah, I just think, um, it just depends on the night obviously.
3:56
Like, um, I think that's what I learned a lot in Boston is, you know, it could be your night some nights, some nights it's not.
4:03
That's just the, the part of being a sixth man is that, um, you know, some nights they might need you to be super aggressive, um, they struggling to score, and some nights is, you know, it's pretty easy.
4:12
You just, you know, finding your, finding your way, and we winning an easy game.
4:16
And so, um, I think that's the same with, you know, coming to Philly.
4:19
Obviously we got, you know, a lot of players in the starting lineup that can explode, you know, for, for big nights.
7:29
Like I'm very happy that you're in a situation where you can showcase your game in a playoff setting, 'cause I feel like that's a big reason why you signed with Philly.
31:20
Yeah.
31:21
You gotta understand, that, that's the role that's given to you.
31:23
It, it may not be what you want, but this is, this is, this is the sacrifices that, you know, has, has, has hap- has hap- happened to, you know, certain players to where I feel like I'm a starter but damn, bro, we don't need you to play that role.
31:40
We need you to play this role right here.
31:41
And you have to be able to adapt to that which is for the big picture.
31:46
It's, it's, it's a mind fuck for a lot of cats because they can't do that.
31:50
They can't make that change.

20 MINS LATER

52:04
[laughs]
16:41
What did you take from your experience growing up being around those NBA players and then being able to take that into your first job in the NBA?
16:50
Yeah, just I think growing up early on, I'd never – First of all, I never really like was, you know, a person that got starstruck over, you know, players other than maybe like T-Mac.
17:02
That was my favorite player.
17:04
So I was always like, I always saw them as, you know, a normal person.
17:09
Obviously he did great things and played basketball in the NBA, which I wanted to do, but I always saw them as, you know, just a normal person.
17:16
So when I came into the NBA, I kind of took that same mindset for myself is that, you You know, obviously I have a long road ahead of me.
17:24
I knew, you know, coming in that I wasn't going to play that much.
20:50
How have the last two years helped to prepare you for this role here with the Celtics where, you know, this is what they're aiming for every single year?
53:11
How do you think that's going to change the shot quality that you get on a nightly basis? Yeah,
53:16
that's...
53:17
Like I said, that was one of the things I thought about as well.
53:19
We went through a couple years of shooting very difficult shots and being successful at it.
53:24
And watching Boston from afar, you see how many wide open shots they get.
53:28
And so when I found out I was coming here, I was like, I can finally get some wide open shots on a consistent basis.
53:34
I've been waiting for this.
53:51
do you think of Joe?
