Was it more that once you were centralized with your data, you were able to be more cyber effective, cybersecurity effective? Or once you wanted to be more cybersecurity effective, so you did centralize your data as one of those ways to do that?

Yeah, we, you know, again, for the benefits of converging, you know, our buildings, we were obviously able to now be able to see, at the very least, you know, everything that passes through, you know, the network appliances, the network devices that are at those buildings, right? So now you have all this information that But how do you even unearth all of that? It's one thing to have traffic passing through your network, but how do you use that inspection to then catalog? And then after you catalog, what are you doing with that data? So from that converged building network platform, we had a means to have You know, access to all the data.

We tried, you know, a few different things where it came to doing really in-depth device discovery, but we found it pretty tricky, especially on the operative technology side.

to leverage, let's say, IT types of tool sets to be able to understand what was there because they didn't really speak the BACnet language or Modbus or all of those protocols that are very unique to a building stack.

So we finally, after a lot of tried and tested, um, uh, POCs landed on Armis.

Um, so we, we then deployed at, at a large subset, more than half of the sites, um, uh, you know, of the, of the, sorry, of the 60 that are, that we have converged, um, and brought that appliance in to now really kind of unearth, you know, all of the devices that are in our operational stack, but then also categorize out of the box, those vulnerability scores and really start to help us now not differentiate, but now how to prioritize.

What should we be doing? What is like the red flag or the red flags and how do we even do something about that? Not to say that you don't do anything with the yellow flags, but what we're trying to do here is obviously centralize a means to all that information from a cyber perspective, from a posture perspective.
