So there was a bit of that, but there was also the idea at the time, at least, that was we needed hope, not fear.

And that consistently that we were running campaigns that were really a fearful message and that we were just consistently not getting cut through anymore.

And then the idea of the lights out really was, it was actually started as a bit of a kind of petulant idea.

It was that we would try and turn all the lights off in Sydney, apart from the ones in Kirribilli where the prime minister lived.
