Well, OK, that's probably the problem, Andy.

Yeah, no, that's exactly what she said was that her biggest fear is that people won't go vote.

And honestly, I share that fear, maybe for different reasons.

But I think that the real risk here, our biggest enemy is not necessarily, you know, the Republicans or the Democrats or even Donald Trump, our biggest enemy in our democracy is voter apathy.

Right.

Of voters who say everything's corrupt.

You know, these guys are all on the take.

Welcome to part two of our conversation with Andy Moore about The Haunted Park Hotel.

Okay.

The, the last one of them was a, a couple weeks ago, and it was The, uh, Falcon Hotel, and that was in Bromyard in Herefordshire.

Okay.

Uh, now this bu- this building is...

Ooh, I wouldn't even hazard a guess how old it is.

It's a white timbered frame building, uh, on the high street of Bromyard.

Mm-hmm.

Yeah.

Um, I'd also got a n- in the group, um, a chap called John Holliday.

And now John, um, he's a, he's an occultist.

He worked, uh, in the 1970s, uh, w- with, um, satanical worship groups and all that kind of thing.

So he, he knew all his stuff about, uh, the dark side of investigating.

Uh, he's quite open and quite sensitive.

And we went up to the highest point of the Park Hotel, which is a 360 degree view of the whole of the area.

Mm-hmm.

Andy, how much of an impact do you think the Trump administration will have in this case?

I think they could have a lot.

I mean, to have the president of the country weighing in on what should be a local issue is somewhat unusual.

Again, I say I'm tired of living in unprecedented times.

I think this is government overreach, pretty plain and simple.

The government, the federal government is forcing a bunch of Oklahomans to.

to live under a cloud of pollution that they don't want and presumably somebody somewhere is getting some sort of kickback the way the business side of this has evolved with foreign investment and the unusual forcefulness with which the white house is advocating for this i think raises a lot of eyebrows I can't imagine anyone who would understand or approve of a government who willfully forces harm upon some of its residents.

I've been sitting with you and worshiping all this time, but now standing on the platform, I'm just like, wow, thank you, Lord.

What a beautiful family God has given us here at Coastline West Shore.

Andy, is that what you expected?

Uh, it's what I expected, yes.

I mean, I will say I didn't expect it to go down that big, although I was grateful that it did.

Um, I think this is a big win for all Oklahomans, honestly, but really a big win for communities, um, to protect what is rightfully owed to them by the state.

Um, 844 failed in every single county, and actually it failed in every single precinct except for just four or five precincts out of the nearly 2,000 precincts statewide, which is pretty unusual, uh, and I think demonstrates that, you know, when you put a complicated tax measure on the ballot in a low-turnout election, it was a pretty obvious ploy by the legislature.

And I heard from a lot of voters who were like, "I don't understand what this does, but I also don't understand why it's on the August ballot," and that made people suspicious.

And sometimes that suspicion is really all it takes to kill a state question like this.

I want to look at this verse now.

I'm going to kind of just walk through it, and I want to just kind of lead in with this concept that this passage calls to us.

It calls something out of us, and it pushes us toward the desired end.

And I'm going to look at every aspect of that as we walk through it.

And I want to start by saying that this passage first calls us to look back.

To look back.

Although this is a church building...

What other races are you watching besides the governor and the superintendents?

Yeah, certainly those two.

I think there's some interest just, and I don't know that it matters for Oklahoma's outcome, but the Democratic race for U.S. Senate between Jim Priest and Jasmine Thomas, I think is interesting just in the backdrop of what's happening nationally with the Democratic Party.

And in many places, these more progressive or in some cases, you know, Democratic socialist aligned candidates that have been winning.

I think Thomas is charting that path where Priest is charting the kind of establishment Democrat.

And it's, you know, that's always a tough question for Oklahoma.

Again, turnout is going to be the deciding factor here.

I think he'd be a good choice.

But it also comes in, um- The mediumship side, like, like I say, trying to communicate with spirit is different from the psychic side, where the psychic side is that you can never quite get rid of the psychic side, especially when you're dealing with people.

Um, and you just know instinctively that there's something not quite right about that person, or, you know, they may be a really lovely person on the outwards, but they've got, like, a really nasty streak in them, or they're hiding something, or, and things like that.

Mm-hmm.

So

it's not the goods that are placed on the altar, it's the heart that brought them there.

And so Abel's offering is a visible demonstration of what we cannot see.

It is a glimpse of his faith.

And Cain's offering is a visible demonstration of what is missing in his heart.

He is missing faith.

And on a human level, we get that motivation matters, right? Let's say you're perusing your local 7-Eleven and you see this sign.
