In 2006, the Walt Disney Company honored Frees posthumously as a Disney Legend.

Next up in our interview, the great Eleanor Audley, who despite having voiced three iconic Disney characters, is surprisingly not a Disney Legend herself.

In 1950 she voiced Lady Tremaine in the animated classic Cinderella, then went on to voice Maleficent in 1959's Sleeping Beauty.

After providing voice work for the two villainous characters, she voiced Madame Leota within the Haunted Mansion.

While Disney Imagineer Leota Toombs provided the face of Madame Leota and lent her name to the character, Leota's voice was soft and kinda diminutive in comparison to Audley's, whose voice was ultimately used because of its authoritative and ominous tone.

In this way it complements the voice of the ghost host.

Other non-Disney related work she's done include episodes of Chris's favorite shows, I Love Lucy and The Twilight Zone, and in a callback to the most recent episode, episode 40 of The Swinging Wake Podcast.

But what was training like when preparing to work at Alien Encounter Attraction? And I know it was a while ago, but is there anything that was pressed upon you that still stands out in your memory?

I don't recall.

I should have gotten the manual out, but I couldn't find it.
